Meet Our Team

Our Team

At Guiding Grace Counseling, our therapists are more than just clinicians—we’re real people who care deeply, show up authentically, and walk alongside our clients with compassion, curiosity, and presence.

We come from diverse backgrounds and specialize in a wide range of approaches, but we all share the same core values: authentic connection, a belief in each person’s inner wisdom, and a commitment to shame-free, person-first care.

We’re honored to be part of your journey—and we can’t wait for you to meet the team.

Jenna Rushton

LCSW, LAC

Founder & Therapist | EMDR Trained

Hi, I’m Jenna—the founder of Guiding Grace Counseling and a therapist who believes that healing happens through relationship, presence, and trust. I started this practice to create the kind of therapy space I always hoped existed: one that’s free of shame, full of compassion, and rooted in the belief that every person already holds the wisdom they need to heal.

I specialize in working with clients navigating trauma, substance use recovery, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and life transitions. My approach is deeply person-centered, drawing from modalities like EMDR, CBT, ACT, and Internal Family Systems.

In sessions, I focus less on what’s “wrong” and more on who you are—your strengths, your story, and your hopes for the future. I believe in walking alongside you, not ahead of you, as you reconnect with your core self and move toward a life that feels meaningful and aligned.

Current waitlist for new clients for individual therapy. Supervision and consultation available.

Seth Brost

LCSW, LAC

Therapist | EMDR Trained | Equine-Assisted Therapy Provider

Hi, I’m Seth. I bring a direct, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy, rooted in real connection and deep respect for the human experience. My goal is to create a space where people feel safe enough to be real, supported enough to grow, and empowered enough to lead themselves forward.

I specialize in trauma, substance use recovery, anxiety, depression, and working with justice-involved individuals. I’m trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, and other evidence-based modalities—and I tailor my approach to each individual’s goals, pace, and strengths.

As an equine therapist with a lifetime of experience with horses, I also offer equine-assisted therapy.

Currently accepting new clients for equine therapy.

Ella Scott Singleton

Clinical Intern | Group Facilitator | Therapist-in-Training

Hi, I’m Ella Scott—a clinical intern at Guiding Grace Counseling, where I’m honored to support clients on their journey toward healing, connection, and self-trust. I bring a warm, grounded presence to my work and believe deeply in meeting people exactly where they are—with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment.

As I continue my clinical training, I am especially drawn to work that focuses on emotional regulation, identity development, and trauma recovery. I’m passionate about helping clients build self-awareness and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been silenced, shamed, or overlooked.

I help facilitate groups, assist with client care, and co-create spaces that feel safe, affirming, and collaborative.

Ella Scott is currently co-facilitating groups. Supervision provided by Jenna Rushton, LCSW, LAC.
